ABOUT & CONTACT
A Note from the Owner
I started Wrapped Up Writing in 2017 because I love to help people and have a special place in my heart for self-published authors and small businesses. This business is about so much more than the services it offers—it's about helping people pursue their dreams, reach their goals, and explore their passions. It is about taking the great ideas you already have and putting the finishing touches on them so that they shine to their full potential. I like to think of your work as a creative gift and ours as the satin ribbon that goes around it to make it stand out and look just right. We are genuinely excited to hear from you, learn more about your current projects, and hopefully become part of your support team.
Owner & Editor
Tamara has been working in the self-publishing industry through various positions since 2011, but she finally found her place within the community when she started editing in 2017. That same year, she graduated magna cum laude from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a bachelor of arts in English and Communications with a concentration in creative writing. During her undergraduate years, she gained additional experience with media and the written word through positions as an editorial intern at Nashville Arts Magazine and as a staff writer, editorial assistant, and co-news editor over the course of two years at The Pacer newspaper. Tamara recognized that educating and editing go hand-in-hand, so she further developed her natural love of teaching as a teaching assistant to a university English professor, a substitute teacher in high school English classes, and a workshop instructor at the local library. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in English and American studies at the University of Bamberg in Germany and expects to graduate in the spring of 2022. In her free time, she enjoys reading, baking, exploring the cities around her, and hiking through nature.. She is especially passionate about volunteering with animals because she cannot yet have any of her own and supporting non-profits that help fight against various medical conditions because she has been visually impaired since birth and is a cancer survivor. Her home office is currently based in two cities—Louisville, KY and Regensburg, Germany—and she frequently enjoys traveling, especially to book conventions.
Book Mapper, Sensitivity Reader, & Excerpt Puller
Ann-Katrin Robinson is first and foremost a mother and a wife, and somewhere in between is her—AK, that is. She likes to think of her life as basically an even mix of messy buns and lots of caffeine. Growing up as an Army brat who moved around a lot, she has a knack for making new friends and exploring the world around her. She tries to implement her love for imagination and exploration into her everyday life as a homeschooling mom to her kindergartener, Aiden. While she loves reading historical fiction and romantic comedy, she believes she’s living her own version of a small-town romance with her (almost) high-school sweetheart, Zach, and their rambunctious little boy on what might as well be considered a farm with four dogs, two cats, and a rabbit who may or may not identify as feline. Ann-Katrin has eight years of experience in the corporate world working as a dental assistant, office worker, and assistant office manager at a leading dental chain. While these experiences have nothing to do with the book world directly, she learned valuable transferrable skills like paying attention to small details, reading quickly while still retaining information, understanding the needs of others, and working well under deadlines. Homeschooling Aiden has also taught her to catch errors, give in-depth feedback, organize details, and focus on important information. Ann-Katrin started unofficially working with Wrapped Up Writing in 2020 and became an official team member at the beginning of 2021. She loves working with authors and helping them manage the smaller but still significant details of their work. Fun fact: Ann-Katrin and Tamara are sisters! And while they both always have a small urge to stick their tongue out at the other, they absolutely love working together.
